Brewing at Home

This has been a very interesting journey, finally arriving here, in this blog.  Over the last couple of years, I have taught myself how to produce decent tasting malt beverages with the help of people that have been brewing for much longer than I have.

I also have spent many years working in the food & beverage sect of the hospitality industry, and believe that my past success in brewing can be lent to the knowledge I have acquired working in various kitchens.  Every step of the way has been a learning experience, and I hope to gain insight through this (…and other similar) website and blogs.

We as a culture are at a unique point in brewing culture to take advantage of thousands of years of old world traditions, whilst utilizing modern methods and technology.  The sky is the limit as far as I am concerned regarding the potential for producing amazing food and drink….

I believe the key to any successful civilization is an understanding of the source and production of it’s most basic resources (such and food and drink).

This has been an adventure for me, and I plan to document everything I learn from here on out….
